As time goes on, fashion is ever so developing. We can take a look into the future by exploring ways of styling clothing that are far from the “norm”. Inspired by geometric designs and monochromatic imagery, I styled and modeled this outfit to celebrate the development of fashion celebrated through modernism.

Baggy denim, oversized hoodies, and chunky shoes are the essentials for the modern skater. Expression of style is ever so important in the skate tradition and has inspired fashion as we know it today. In this piece, I’ve styled and modeled an outfit that expresses the unique styling tradition of skate culture.

The typical business professional attire is seen very often in Fashion and has been one of the main inspirations for many fashion houses. Throughout this piece, I’ve styled and modeled the perfect outfit to express the development of “business professional attire” after intense influence from modern fashion. While swaying away from the neat look of tucked-in button-down shirts I’ve explored the use of distressing/cropping shirts, matching with the normal business look of the dark-colored tie and light overcoat.

Football fans often take to the streets styled in their favorite team's football jersey paired with denim jeans. This style has developed and been reimagined into a unique look that has spread worldwide onto fashion runways and daily social media feeds. In this piece, I have explored the unique style in my own way with the coveted football jersey paired with the versatile baggy pant.
The quintessential biker “uniform” is paired with leather jackets that hold unique shapes or zigzag designs on them with padded leather pants to match. Today, fashion has been inspired by the eccentric biker look and has reimagined it into various implementations. In this piece, my goal was to showcase the unique style in my own way by pairing the typical leather jacket and leather pant look with distressed denim jeans to display the lifestyle of biking after many falls and close calls.

The gothic way of life is essentially expressed through the “Dark” ways of fashion. This style has been trademarked by many fashion houses today with the use of dark color palettes, heavy metal chain links, and attention-grabbing shoes or boots. As the list goes on, the unique styling tradition continues to catch the attention of people all around the world. In this piece, I have styled and modeled my viewpoint of what goth culture looks like in my eyes.

Rave music has inspired their listeners to create their own style that is showcased essentially when attending rave concerts. Rave outfits consist of eye-grabbing attire that may include an exaggerated hat, splashy-bright color palettes, baggy pants, or unpredictable tops. In this piece, I have styled an outfit that is inspired by the everyday raver of today.
Unique styles inspired by the creativity of Generation Z expand more than just ostentatious styles like skirts worn by men and overall ignorance of common gender “norms”. Fashion inspired by Generation Z speaks to the overall development of fashion and styles in our modern everyday life. In this piece, I reimagined the subject and displayed my newfound expression of the style.
